- שְׂבִיעָהf. (שָׂבֵעַ) being sated, satiation. Yoma 79b (ref. to Deut. 11:15) אכילה שיש בה ש׳וכ׳ (to say the benediction after meal requires) food enough to satisfy the appetite, which is the size of an egg. Pesik. R. s. 16 (ref. to Num. 28:7) לשון רויה לשון ש׳וכ׳ expressing fill, satiation , v. רְוִיָּה; Tanḥ. Pinḥ. 12; Num. R. s. 2117>; Y.Succ.IV, 54d top שיבעה (corr. acc.).
